Stories, locations, tastes. These three things are intertwined in this cookbook, not by chance. We can travel and taste from the Arabian Peninsula through the coasts of Sicily or Sardinia to America and Turkey.

What inspired this volume? The many Borsa Brown novels that have been published so far, in which the characters regularly sit at the table and experience eating as a kind of sacrament. Whether sweet or salty, natural or spicy, liquid or solid, one thing is certain: If we taste the dishes prepared with the help of the recipes and close our eyes, we will be at the place of the stories where these delicacies come from.

Borsa Brown's name is best known in connection with romantic novels, although the author has also published a storybook and a military album, in which he and his co-author present the Special Forces of the Hungarian Armed Forces in the form of pictures and quotes.

Since 2013, his books have enjoyed unbroken popularity, and are characterized by the fact that he guides readers to foreign cultures, thereby almost creating another dimension while reading. In 2015, his volume The Arab was voted the book of the year by the readers, and in 2017 he was our most popular Hungarian author.

In 2020, together with Master Sergeant József Pápai, he was able to receive the honorary letter from the President of the Republic János Áder, which was received in recognition of the military album Frontline, which was created with the support of the Hungarian Defense Forces and the Ministry of Defense.

In addition to countless Golden Book award nominations and many other recognitions, he is most proud of the community forged by his novels.
