PRESS THE BUTTON! - Easily switch between active and semi-passive cooling!
A button on the back of the power supply allows you to switch between balanced, active cooling mode and semi-passive mode; with the former, the Silent Wings fan rotates continuously, while with the latter, the fan stops when the load is low and only starts again when stronger cooling is needed for more energy-intensive operations. The post-fan setting keeps the fan running for a short period of 2-5 minutes after cooling to prevent repeated, noisy restarts and shutdowns.

A large heatsink connects the parts of the power supply that require the strongest cooling and dissipates most of the heat.
