"We discussed with Rado that we will write a diary, and then when we are old, we will find out about it" - this is how twelve-year-old Laci begins her diary, honestly admitting that she picked up the word "we find out" from Radó, whose father is a linguist, and therefore very rich the vocabulary. Laci faithfully reports on the eventful weekdays of the Faragó family with three children living in a small apartment, and in the meantime she does a lot to make these weekdays as busy as possible. The reader - who fortunately does not have to wait until old age to see good things in Laci's diary - will surely close this cheerful family from Seleburd to their hearts, which happily welcomes all newcomers to their somewhat crowded apartment, whether they are golden hamsters, tinkers or thieves.
