Bajzáth Mária - Wheel life fája - Jeles days mesekalendáriuma
Product description
The third part of the Népmesekincstár Plusz series is a gap-filling volume for families and teachers. It reveals why you shouldn't sow on April Fool's Day ("Don't sow!") and on which day you should go treasure hunting. In the fairy tale calendar, we can read tales about Saint George the Slayer, Bishop Miklós, the fun-loving Saint Peter, wise shepherds and sly princesses.
The holiday is a special time, different from everyday life. It is preceded by waiting and preparation, in appearance as well as in spirit. If the holiday is real, the rhythm of life changes. Folktales, legends, nursery rhymes, riddles and games also promote the experience of holidays and important days, the understanding of customs and beliefs.
I intend the Tree of Round Life to be a perpetual calendar, so it can be read again and again every year. I would like the book to be a part of family, kindergarten and school life as well. If we get together and everyone LIVES the holiday, the child suddenly turns listening to the story into action: "I know that we celebrate the new bread on August 20, and I remember that in the story the beggar got the first one. What if we would we bake it and give it to someone who really needs it?"
