The universal external AXAGON EEM2-SG2 RAW box with USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface is designed for M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD disks. The two-sided USB-C connector on the box together enables a reliable connection to the computer. The package includes not only a USB-C -> USB-A cable to connect the box to a computer, but also a USB-A -> USB-C adapter. You can connect the box to any free USB port on your notebook.

The second generation of the fast USB connector allows you to enjoy the speed of modern M.2 SSD drives. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 connector, the transfer speed can be up to 10Gb/s. The external M.2 box also supports other modern functions, e.g. UASP, TRIM and enables disk health monitoring S.M.A.R.T. reading information. Support idle state.

Thanks to the new chipset, a unique feature is the possibility of using M.2 NVMe and SATA disks. You don't have to think about what type of M.2 disk to put in the box. Its advantage is the attachment of SSD cards of three different lengths - 42, 60 and 80 mm. M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided. The number of SSD disks that can be placed in the box is not limited.

The screw-free box opening makes it easy to assemble and disassemble the M.2 SSD disk. Disk replacement is quick and easy, thus expanding the possibilities of using the box, for example for data migration, testing, etc. The outer metal case is titanium silver in color and has an elegant, polished surface that prevents unwanted fingerprints. The rounded box design promises pleasant use.

The aluminum box body, the cooling openings and the thermal pad provide very good cooling for the inserted M.2 SSD disk. This increases its lifespan and prevents slowing down, which is called "Thermal Throttling".
