ATOMOS Shinobi II5" kontroll monitor
Product description
Atomos Shinobi II 5.2" HDMI HDR monitor lets you spice up your camera monitoring. Designed for vloggers, photographers and content creators, Shinobi II has many feature improvements over the original Shinobi, including an even slimmer and lighter body design, 50% brighter 1500cd/m² display, USB-C camera control for Canon/Panasonic/Sony/Z CAM with status indicators, new AtomOS 11 interface, USB-C PD power supply, lockable HDMI and USB-C adapter, updated imaging devices and ultra-low battery consumption, so the monitor can run all day on a single battery.
Camera control
Use the USB-C port to control the latest mirrorless or DSLR cameras from Canon, Panasonic, Sony and the Z CAM E2 range. There is also a 2.5mm LANC port on the side for additional control compatibility.
Note: This will be expanded to support Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System and Sigma cameras in the future with firmware updates.
Camera status
The camera status indicator allows you to monitor the camera's internal recording settings, battery status and remaining recording time. A red-edged display shows when the camera is recording internally, either by the camera or by Shinobi II.
AtomOS 11 and advanced imaging tools
Shinobi II includes the latest Atomos AtomOS 11, which introduces many new tools and features with a more logical layout and an easy-to-navigate interface. Shinobi II's interface allows you to adjust the aperture, shutter speed/angle and ISO of your camera's lenses with built-in exposure tools such as false color, waveform, zebra or histogram for perfect exposure on every shot.
Brighter display
The 5.2" touchscreen display is 50% brighter than Shinobi's, with a peak brightness of 1500 cd/m², making it easy to read, whether shooting indoors or in bright sunlight.
Input signals
The Shinobi II has an HDMI 1.4 input that allows you to monitor signals with different resolutions and frame rates up to DCI/UHD 4K30 and 1080p60.
HDR and LUT support
The HDR HLG and HDR PQ monitoring modes allow you to preview what the camera's Log output might look like in HDR. Users can upload up to eight custom LUTs to the monitor's built-in storage to preview footage with their own favorite look.
Light structural design
The monitor has become slimmer, weighing only 210 grams, and in addition to the 1/4"-20 threads, there are additional locating holes for anti-twist mounting. On the back, a single L-series battery plate has been centered to improve balance and maneuverability. The included HDMI/USB-C locking adapter allows the use of Atomos' new locking cable family to prevent disconnection or pulling out.
Performance options
There are several methods of powering the Shinobi II, including an L-series/NP-F style battery, an optional battery eliminator (battery pack) connected from a DC barrel to a D-Tap cable, or a 10W USB-C PD charger. You can also charge/power the camera via USB-C PD 13W output while using the Shinobi II's camera control functions.
