The soothing and balancing essential oils of the pleasant flower-scented sauna oil help you relax and relieve the tension caused by everyday problems.
• Bergamot: Essential oil and preparations containing essential oil are used to eliminate insomnia, anxiety, and increased excitement in the form of steaming with an aroma lamp, soothing body care massage oils, and bath and sauna preparations.
• Cedar wood: The essential oil of cedar can be used as a component of massage and bath oils, in mixtures used for inhalation and vaporization, as a component of respiratory complaints, and as a component of skin care cosmetics (e.g. products intended for the care of orange skin and oily, seborrhoeic skin)
• Clementine: its essential oil is one of the most powerful sedative and anxiolytic essential oils, but thanks to limonene it also has pronounced antimicrobial properties.
• Sweet orange: The main component of the well-being-improving and disinfecting oil is limonene, which is present in at least 80-90%. The VIII. Official sweet orange essential oil aroma bath in the Hungarian Pharmacopoeia; inhalation; in the form of massage and bath oils, as well as steaming with an aroma lamp to disinfect and refresh the air; it is used to relieve restlessness and anxiety and eliminate sleep disorders.
• Ylang-ylang: thanks to linalool, which is known to have a calming and relaxing effect, it has a calming, mentally balancing and refreshing effect, in addition to these effects, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effects are also expected when used therapeutically.
• Palm rose: As an air freshener, vaporized from an aroma lamp or inhaled from baths, the oil also has a mood-improving effect.
Sauna
In relation to sauna, it is important to know that essential oils exert their effects mostly through inhalation. In addition to their favorable physiological effects (e.g. disinfecting the airways and improving their patency), they can positively influence emotions and mood. For sauna use, add 2-5 drops of the essential oil mixture to the water in the pouring spoon, then pour it on the hot stones.
In a dry-warm sauna, the effects of essential oils on the respiratory tract, the nervous system and emotions prevail, and in a steam bath, the vapor of essential oils on the skin can have a particularly beneficial effect on the skin and subcutaneous tissues.
