It is most often used for the treatment of chronic locomotor diseases of various origins as a component of rubs, wraps, and massage and bath oils. The diuretic property of the essential oil can be used in complex preparations with a de-slag effect (e.g. in case of chronic polyarthritis), and it can also be used with good results in therapy as a component of diuretic and antiseptic preparations used in the treatment of urinary tract infections.
