Árnyékban éles light or - A Radnóti házaspár fényképei

In our album, we selected the photos of the Radnóti couple, Miklós Radnóti and Fanni Gyarmati.

We present the antecedents of their life together, including the recordings that were made during their childhood and student years, when they met, and when they got engaged. The chapters are structured around the important stages of the shared fate of the poet, and later of the betrothed and married couple, in which we first present the pictures of Miklós Radnóti and then of Fanni Gyarmati. As their lives become intertwined, there are more and more photos together. In a separate chapter, we present the damaged pictures found during the exhumation of the mass grave in Abda, which Miklós Radnóti took with him to his last service, as well as some of the official photographs taken at the reburial of the poet in August 1946, at the end of their life together. At the end of our album, we dedicated a chapter each to the families of Miklós Radnóti and Fanni Gyarmati. On the one hand, these pictures are interesting in themselves, and on the other hand, we can often read about their characters, especially Fanni Gyarmati's family members, in her diary and in the letters she exchanged with Miklós Radnóti.
