Product description
The Aqara T2 Dual Relay Module is a two-circuit smart relay module that uses Zigbee 3.0 communication, so an Aqara Zigbee central unit / hub is required for its operation. Its terminal blocks are designed in such a way that it is capable of dry contact control or switching of direct current and alternating current.
In interlock mode, it is also suitable for controlling motorized blinds, motorized blinds and motorized curtains.
NEW, two-circuit Aqara smart Zigbee switch module, with a built-in consumption meter and the interlock mode required for motor control.
It is suitable for voltage-free / potential-free switching, direct current and alternating current switching, so it can be used very widely.
It can be used to install behind a 2-button chandelier switch and control two lighting circuits, or to control two-way motors, such as motorized blinds, curtain motors, motorized shutters, gate openers. We can also use it to mount behind a traditional switch and turn it into a "wireless switch": i.e. we can control other devices / circuits from the wall switch via an Aqara Zigbee hub.
Paired with Aqara hub, it can also be controlled and controlled remotely from other Aqara wireless devices, such as Aqara's one- and two-button wireless wall switch, Aqara's remote control button or Aqara's scene control cube.
Both phase and neutral wires are required for its operation, and each circuit has a switch input so that the smart control can also be switched from a wall switch.
The module will switch the voltage connected to "L OUT" on outputs "L1" and "L2". In the case of dry contact control, the switching takes place between "L1-L OUT" and "L-L OUT". If we want to control 230V AC devices with the module, the "L IN - L OUT" terminals must be short-circuited with the short-circuit wire in the box.
Although the outputs can be switched independently, they are connected to the same "L OUT" terminal, so the two relay outputs can only be used with the same voltage level.
Thanks to the built-in consumption meter, the module can also be used to monitor the energy consumption of the controlled devices.
The module comes with a holder adapter, which can be fixed on the wall with a screw, and can also be snapped onto an electrical DIN rail, so you can use the module installed in a socket recessed into the wall, snapped onto a DIN rail of an electrical cabinet, or placed at a consumer.
When used in a wall socket: it is recommended to use a recessed wall socket box, or a larger one, e.g. use of an octagonal Kaiser box, as some 65 assembly boxes do not fit the module.
The smart module uses the Zigbee 3.0 wireless communication protocol to communicate with the central module, so the Aqara Hub, a Zigbee central unit, is required for the module to function.
Paired with Aqara hub, it is also compatible with a number of other systems: e.g. Apple HomeKit compatible, Google Home, Alexa compatible, works with IFTTT and compatible with systems using the Matter standard.
