The AQARA FP400 Spatial Multi-Sensor is a presence and light sensor built on 60 GHz mmWave radar, tracking the real-time position and movement of people in a room. It can monitor up to 10 people at the same time, and the monitored area can be divided into as many as 8 individual zones.
An advanced AI-based signal processing system filters out false triggers, such as movement from pets or fans. The built-in light sensor provides accurate readings of ambient lighting conditions, which can be used in automations.
The sensor supports Zigbee and Matter over Thread, so it fits flexibly into popular smart home ecosystems. It requires a continuous 5 V power supply via USB-C to operate.
