The Aqara Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 (PS-S04E) is a new generation battery-powered presence sensor that uses dual detection technology: the 60 GHz mmWave radar also detects subtle movements (e.g. breathing, small body movements), while the PIR quickly reacts to larger movements. Thus, the lighting, heating/cooling or alarm does not stop even if someone is sitting quietly or sleeping in the room.

The FP300 works with both Thread and Zigbee connections and is Matter-compatible, so it can be easily integrated with the most popular smart home platforms. The built-in light, temperature and humidity sensors provide extra data for automation (e.g. brightness-based lighting, humidity-based ventilation).

The device has a battery-powered, wireless design, so it can be placed flexibly at the optimal point in the room. The wide, approx. A 120° viewing angle and a range of up to ~6 m can cover entire rooms, while software filtering helps to filter out false alarms caused by curtains, fans or small pets.
