Design - Unibody housing.
The new iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have been designed inside and out to surpass all previous iPhone models with their power. The central element of the new design is the thermoformed aluminum unibody housing, which enables maximum performance, battery capacity and durability.
We have built many forward-looking innovations into the camera system of the iPhone 17 Pro. Among them is the largest telephoto camera in the history of the iPhone, with a focal length of up to 200 mm, the new generation tetraprism optics and a 56 percent larger sensor. With the camera offering 16x optical zoom, you can even more creatively compose wonderful shots even from a greater distance. Your low-light photos will be stunningly clear, and your videos will be amazingly spectacular.
18 MP Center Stage front camera.
With the new front-facing camera, you can flexibly compose your photos and videos - it even offers a lot of other things. With one tap, you can switch to a wider viewing angle or from portrait to landscape orientation without rotating your iPhone. And when friends also pose for a joint photo, the camera automatically switches to a wider angle of view, so the whole group can take a selfie.
The all-new rectangular sensor enables rotation and zoom options that give you even more flexibility in composing selfies and videos. And it also makes sure everyone gets in the group photos – automatically.
From recording your own videos to film production, iPhone 17 Pro is ready for any challenge. With more professional video features than ever before, including improved video stabilization, cinema-level specifications and industry-standard workflows, iPhone 17 Pro puts a serious cinematic toolbox in your hands, accessible at any time.
ProRes RAW. The iPhone 17 Pro is the first among smartphones to support Apple's own video codec, which provides outstanding controllability and quality7.
Professional workflows. Wider color gamut with Apple Log 2, frame rate suitable for TV broadcasting and recordings that use the full area of the image sensor.
Genlock and timecode support. These highly precise video synchronization techniques also make the work of content creators and film producers easier. iPhone 17 Pro supports these functions when using the new Blackmagic Camera ProDock8.
Performance
Whether you work with professional graphic content or large media files, thanks to its advanced cooling technology, the iPhone 17 Pro excels in all tasks. The Apple-designed laser-welded vapor chamber and the aluminum unibody case work together to effectively cool the A19 Pro chip for even better sustained performance. This revolutionary heat dissipation solution made it possible to create the most powerful iPhone to date.
A19 Pro chip - Thanks to this chip, the best performance on an iPhone so far. It powers the iPhone 17 Pro, making it ideal for more advanced games and the most complex tasks.
Graphics and speed - The GPU and CPU provide 40 percent better sustained performance, which is also thanks to the innovative heat dissipation design.
Neural accelerators - Thanks to the neural accelerators built into the cores of the GPU, the iPhone 17 Pro handles tasks with AI models operating on the device more efficiently than before.
Operating time.
The renewed internal structure enables the installation of a battery with a significantly larger capacity, thus enabling the longest iPhone operating time9 of all time on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. In addition, compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the operating time is up to 3 hours longer with a full charge. Whether you like to watch videos for a long time, or you have work that lasts until late - your iPhone will last overtime.
All family members are brilliant - All that is great. All on iPhone.
