The APO-Ultron 90mm F2.0 VM is a manual-focus prime lens with a fixed 90 mm focal length and a maximum aperture of f/2.0, finished in black. Its apochromatic design uses eight elements, six of them made from abnormal partial dispersion glass, to reduce colour fringing and deliver high optical performance. The optics are optimised for Leica M digital cameras.
A twelve-blade diaphragm produces a smooth, pleasing bokeh in out-of-focus areas. The fully metal lens housing is very rigid and durable. Manual focusing relies on rangefinder-style precision, allowing accurate focus even on demanding subjects.
