The APO-SKOPAR 90mm F2.8 VM is a manual focus medium focal length telephoto lens optimized for Leica M cameras. Thanks to the newly designed optical system, the images are rich in detail, characterful and super sharp. In addition, thanks to the apochromatic design, chromatic aberration is not experienced. However, during the development, compactness was taken into account above all, the length of the lens is 60 mm and the weight is only 250 g. Due to its small size, it does not extend into the frame of the viewfinder when used on a rangefinder camera. The 10-blade aperture takes on a special shape, forming a circle not only at F2.8, full aperture, but also at F4 and F22, meaning that a circular flare can be created if the lens is pointed directly at a point light source.
