Almási Kitti - Bátran élni. Félelmeink and gátlásaink leküzdése (hangoskönyv)
Product description
We have a lot of inhibitions and fears even in the simplest situations - we are afraid that if we show something of ourselves, we will expose ourselves to the criticism, judgment and rejection of others. It seems much easier to hide behind our roles.
But do we live our lives this way? Are we missing the point in our caution? Can we be capable of real intimacy, can we realize our deepest desires, if we arrange ourselves for constant self-defense?
Why don't we sometimes ask the question: So what?! What if something doesn't work out, if someone doesn't accept you? Is it worth giving up on living our authentic life from within, just so that we will never be hurt, rejected, or fail (which is certainly impossible anyway)? I find that, looking back, we always regret not doing something that would have been really important to us.
Yes, there are terribly difficult and scary situations in life when it is natural to be afraid - as well as deep adult inhibitions and anxieties that stem from early injuries, so they are practically written into our cells. In such cases, our work is really not easy - but we have tools in our hands, and there is no question that we should care about this, that we cannot live our lives bravely and authentically, if we want to and make an effort for it.
