Alfred Adler left Sigmund Freud's circle of psychoanalytic students in 1911, as he founded an independent psychotherapy and counseling trend (even a movement), which was later named individual psychology. In this book, he explores individual psychology as an independent science, presents its various aspects and how it can be applied in everyday life. He deals with the feeling of inferiority, the superiority complex and, in connection with this, he also writes about love, marriage, sexuality, and the problems of social life.
