A mysterious, deadly disease. Child survivors with special abilities they can't control. A world in which they are locked away. A girl whose power is greater than anything else.
Because of her supernatural ability, Ruby Daly spent many years in a government camp where she and others like her were raised to fear and suppress their power. One day, the girl finally breaks free and joins a group of other special young people, Liam, Charles and Suzume, who are looking for shelter. However, they soon realize that more than running and hiding is needed: they have to fight. Through dangers, loves, friendships, disappointments and uplifting moments, we can follow as Ruby and her friends band together and try to regain their future at any cost. After all, if they don't help themselves, no one will.
