For high blood pressure, gall, kidney, bladder, liver disorders, heavy menstrual bleeding, rheumatic and joint pains. It is also used against intestinal diseases, intestinal bleeding, and high blood pressure. Externally, it can be used as a poultice or gargle for sore throat.

Preparation: 
Boil 2 teaspoons of goldenrod with 2 dl of water, then let it stand for 10-15 minutes, then filter. It is useful to drink a cup of tea between meals 2-3 times a day.
