A nyugati királyság lovagjai : Koronák városa board game expansion

The Knights of the Western Kingdom: City of Crowns is an expansion for the board game that brings new elements to the trilogy. Players gather their knights to defend the realm while planning their strategy against the invading hordes. New are the muster cards, which work much like the royal favour cards, and two additional action spaces for musters and negotiations.

With the negotiation action, players interact with a new deck of noble cards. Nobles can be sent on a task for a one-time immediate bonus, using the new diplomacy attribute instead of strength, faith or influence, or they can be hired, keeping their ability until the end of the game. The muster action lets players collect the new cards, which score extra victory points at the end of the game.

The expansion introduces no entirely new mechanics. Instead, it widens the already considerable range of options in the game. For 1 to 4 players aged 12 and up, with a playing time of around 90 to 120 minutes, it is a worthwhile addition for fans of the series.
