A balszerencse áradás 1. A baljós start

Dear reader !
Have you heard of the Baudelaire children? You can read about the adventures of the lovely, beautiful, smart siblings - Violet, the inventor, Klaus, the bookworm and little Sunny - in this book, which will soon be followed by more novels.

Unfortunately, sometimes sad things happen in people's lives. A tragic event fundamentally changes the fate of the protagonists of our story. Are they able to cope with tasks that seem too difficult for them? Will they be saved from their distressed, sometimes hopeless, sometimes alarming and terrifying situation?

During the exciting, twisty story, full of dangers - which is not without the absurd, Lewis Carroll-like humor - we will become personal acquaintances with the cheerful Uncle Poe, the kind Judge Strauss and the terrifying, evil Count Olaf, who is bidding for the children's fortune. But all the way through, we are rooting for the Baudelaire children, for whom further trials await, and whom you will certainly close in your heart.

The books are imbued with the spirit of satire that is traditionally present in English children's literature... More than one million copies of the series have been sold... Lemony Snicket's readers buy the volumes of the series with genuine excitement and childlike curiosity.
