How does UVC LED sterilization work?
UVC sterilization is a professional technology.
UCV LED destroys microbes and bacteria, breaks down their DNA and RNA structure.
Widely used in disinfecting rooms and hospital sterilization.
Viewing the sterilization process
The destruction of bacteria can be easily monitored with a microscope.
Effect of sterilization on odors
UVC LED light achieves nail removal by breaking down the structure of odor molecules, such as drug residues of milk derivatives or the sour smell of drinks.
DIY experiment
Cut an orange in half, store at 25C°-30C°. Sterilize one half with UV, but not the other half. The changes are clearly visible within 2-10 days.
What are the advantages of UVC LED sterilization?
- Fast: in contrast to the minimum 10-minute cooking time
- Portable
- Any material can be sterilized (metal cannot be microwaved, clothes will be ruined or wet in the steam, etc.)
- It directly attacks bacteria and germs, breaking down their DNA and RNA
- Environmentally friendly, mercury- and ozone-free
- There are cold-tolerant, heat-tolerant and drug-resistant bacteria (cattle disease, bird flu, etc.), but no UV-resistant bacteria are known
- 99.9% sterilization efficiency
How many bacteria can there be on plush toys?
Children's toys, especially plush toys, can contain a lot of dust and bacteria. According to scientists' measurements, 200-2000 bacterial colonies can settle in a toy during a day's use. It can be shown on more than 70% of the games, e.g. hepatitis B virus, cold bacterial debris, E-coli and other microorganisms.
Toys made of different materials are not easy to keep clean, especially hard-to-reach parts. This problem is solved by the fast UVC LED sterilization process, penetrating the cytomembrane, directly attacking the cell nucleus, breaking down its DNA and RNA structure.
How effective is alcohol sterilization?
Alcohol disinfection is an everyday thing, whether it is an electronic device or our child's toy. Almost every household has pharmacy alcohol at home for this purpose. But is it really as effective as we think?
Alcohol cannot kill all types of bacteria, it is ineffective against viruses that do not have fatty tissue.
The misconception that a higher alcohol percentage increases the effectiveness of sterilization is not true. An alcohol percentage that is too high can create a protective layer on the surface of the bacteria, and an alcohol percentage that is too low cannot achieve a coagulation effect. Therefore, it is recommended to clean with 95% alcohol and disinfect with 75%. 70% alcohol can kill different bacteria in different times, typically between half a minute and five minutes. Since alcohol is volatile, its effectiveness may decrease significantly during this time.
Why should the baby bottle be boiled or steamed for at least 10 minutes?
Different bacteria die at 100°C in different times. This is why a sterilization time of at least 10 minutes is required for boiling or steaming (microwave or electric) for effective sterilization. In the case of UVC LED sterilization, this time is a maximum of 3 minutes, environmentally friendly, mercury- and ozone-free, anywhere, anytime.
Multifunctional: sterilizes, stores.
Sterilizes anything: pacifiers, razors, scissors, glasses, jewelry, cosmetic equipment, hearing aids, braces, etc.
Automatic switch-off when the lid is opened.
No chemical pollution, mercury and ozone free.
