Function

The TL-SF1008P is a 8 10/100 Mbps connector, non-managed Switch that does not require configuration and has 4 POE (Power Over Ethernet) connectors. This allows you to automatically detect and power any IEEE 802.3AF compatible device. In such cases, the current is transmitted with the data on a single cable, allowing you to increase your network and install devices such as APs, IP cameras or IP phones.

Power over Ethernet

From Switch 8 connectors 4 (1-4 ports) support Power Over Ethernet (POE). This allows you to automatically detect and power any IEEE 802.3AF compatible device.

Overload

One of the higher priority tasks of the TL-SF1008P is to protect the system when the power supply is overloaded. If you consume all POE devices is more than or equal to 57W, the major ports are placed in highlights, and those with lower priorities will be eliminated.

Port priority feature

Priority (Port 1> Port 2> Port> Port> 4): This feature protects the system if the power supply is overloaded. For example, if connectors 1, 2 and 4 use 15.4W (maximum power per port 15.4W), the total power of the system is 46.2W. If there is an additional tool that is fitted to Port 3 with 12W power, the system will eliminate port 4 for overloading, which means that Port 1, 2 is 15.4W and Port 3 will use Port 4 power supply.
