Its operation

The MC110CS is a media converter that converts 100BASE-FX optics to 100Base-T copper-based transmission or vice versa. Based on IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, MC110CS is designed to use single-mode fiber optic cables with SC type connection. The MC110CS supports the Long Wave (LX) laser specification at full wire transmission speed. It transmits and receives data with a value of 1310nm.

Another feature of the module is that it can be used as a stand-alone device, but it can also be installed in a 19-inch TP-LINK cabinet, Auto MDI/MDI-X and duplex auto negotiation at the TX port, and front panel status LEDs. The MC110CS transmits on the enlarged optical network, which can be up to 20 km in the case of single-mode optics.
