The new Pioneer VSX-934 7.2-channel AV receiver amplifier can play object-based Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound in a 5.2.2 speaker arrangement. If the system does not have separate speakers on or directed to the ceiling, the amplifier can use Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual:X technologies to produce the height sound components.
